Worship Teams

The Worship Team is a body of individuals who have answered to the higher call of God. Along with this call comes the high standard of discipline, obedience and dedication which is expected of the Christian who is now considered a servant of God, a bond servant who does not expect anything in return and understands that serving God is actually his privilege and honor.

The worship team exists for the purpose of the worship and exaltation of God by leading and teaching God's people the essence of true worship.

VISION

To see the name of Jesus lifted high in every believer's life. It is also the vision of the worship team to train and disciple men and women for more work, to be of use of God and to His Church for His glory.

We are working, hoping and praying that in time, members of the team will even become pastors and teachers; back-up singers to rise up and become worship leaders. For some members to become intercessors and leaders to prepare God's people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

MISSION

• Lead God's people into true worship.
• Teach what true worship is.
• Disciple future leaders and ministers.
• Impart a life of worship to the church.
• Show the church the importance of praising and worshiping God every day with every opportunity given.
• Provide the best atmosphere and opportunity for the congregation to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

• must be a born-again Christian;
• must be at least 2 years in the Lord and not a new convert;
• must be an official member of Living Word (LWCCCII).;
• must have no vice(s);
• must have a good reputation in the church;
• must be willing to serve and be trained;
• must be submissive to leadership;
• must be musically inclined to an acceptable level.

Saturday Worship Team

• Worship Team Practice
  Every Friday - 5-7 pm
  Music Room
• Study of the Word - after the practice
• Intercession - after the study of the Word

Sunday Worship Team

• Worship Team Practice / intercession
  Every Friday - 7-9 pm - Music Room
• Cell's Divided Session - usually every other Thurs. or Wed.
• Plenary Cell - usually once a month

Cebuano Worship Team

• Intercessory Prayer Meeting and Practice
  Friday - 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
• Study of the Word and Intercession
  Thursday, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  Music Room, Living Word Center
• Women's Cell Group.
  Sunday - 12 noon - 1:30 p.m.
  David's Hall, Living Word Center
• Required to attend Intercessory Prayer Meeting (IPM).
  Friday - 7:00 p.m. - 9 p.m.
