RUNNERS
(Reaching Unto Nations Now Empowered by the Risen Savior)

RUNNERS was birthed and borne through Prayer. April 28 marks the first year anniversary of RUNNERS. It all started when a few of us graduates and facilitators of the Condensed World Mission Course (CWMC) decided to meet every Sunday, early in the morning, to pray for the unreached peoples of the world. We were responding to a message preached by no less than Dr. Jonathan Lewis, the internationally renowned editor of "World Mission-An Analysis of the World Christian Movement", the textbook used in the CWMC, The message "burned" within us. It was a clarion call from the Lord to serve Him, not just with our hearts but with our hands and feet as well, in His world-wide work of redemption.

VISION

To give God glory by calling the Church to hasten Christ's return by taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth. (Matthew 24:14)

MISSION

• To heighten missions awareness in the local church
• To integrate the cause of missions in all ministries in LWCCCII
• To mobilize and equip the church for frontier missions (E2 and E3 evangelism)
• To channel support-prayer, financial, material and group accountability to the mobilizers, senders, goers and welcomers
• To bridge the gap between the modality and the sodalities
• To synergize with missions agencies in the equipping of the saints
• To raise up, by God's grace, teams devoted to frontier missions

• Regular updates through SMS of group activities and projects

For Non-members:

• Monthly newsletter to increase missions awareness and involvement
• Counseling and prayer upon request
• Missions awareness seminars upon request (Cat & Dog Theology Seminar and Kairos/Condensed World Mission Course)
