I have come through the toughest marathon of my life,

A marathon where distance is immeasurable,

Where time is boundless and can be measured by faith,

Patience and perseverance.

Where my quest is not to win

But able to accomplish the race that God has set before me

With boldness and confidence

And enjoyment along the journey,

Making every step a blissful adventure...

Where my ultimate goal is to take the risk that has within it,

To sustain from resilience, to endure through pain,

And endure all things with passion and enthusiasm

For the greater glory of God

Taking every step in joyful obedience

Until the waning years of my life...

Where my commitment is to grow strong...

Leaving my footprints behind, pressing forward

On each stride to the finish line

Towards the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus

Marking the memories with the fulfillment to love like Christ.

Where in the end I could say… the One is worth waiting for.
